Every product we sale and ship to California will come with a prop 65 label. You can read more about it here on American Herbal Products Associations website were they discuss it in detail. http://www.ahpa.org/Consumers/CaliforniaProposition65FAQ.aspx
The short version is everything according to CA can cause cancer even at very low levels. If you are from CA you have probably seen this label on everything. The issue is sue crazy people that go after companies for not having a prop 65 warning label on products. We were advised by a lawyer friend to just cover ourselves and add one to any product going to CA. There are people and companies that search out manufacturers that do not add a label and try and cause harm for an attempt at easy money.
The prop 65 label is misleading and is big debate in CA over it. Everything we sale is to lab tested and to specifications of the American Herbal Products Association levels for safe herbal supplements. California says if you have any of these trace metals even if they are within safe levels according to supplement industry standards then you still have to have a prop 65 label. This is only California saying this every other state this is not required.
If you live in California you have seen this label every were, even at your McDonald's were that cheeseburger has levels over what CA says is safe.
